I'm kinda bummed I won't be able to make it as I am out of town on that date.  If you haven't gone by yet, there is some really good work.....aside from my own. :)

The Happening Gallery

Just had a meeting with Natalie Gray, artist and owner of The Happening Gallery in Marina del Ray.  She seamed to really enjoy the pieces from the Monolith series as has requested them for her new show starting in a few days.  The Monolith's seam to be my most successful pieces so I should probably go about making more of them.  Here's hoping they do well. 

Assistant

Just started work with Timothy Williams at Black Cat Gallery in Culver City.  Timothy is a well respected painter/sculptor in the L.A. area that takes on the occasional assistant or two to help him build his sculptures.  I will be mainly helping him with construction and fabrication and in exchange will be (hopefully) learning the ins and outs of the L.A. art scene and the workings of a successful art studio.  I have high hopes for this union.

Gallery Godo

Last week to see my show at Gallery Godo in Glendale CA.  It's a group show of about 15 artists with only two sculptors.  I have the most 3D pieces in the show with several from the Monolith and Found series as well as a newly updated kinetic piece.
